BREATHTAKING VIEW, WILDLIFE ABOUNDS, RELAXING, AND REJUVENATING

If you want to stay on Lake Crescent, your search for a vacation rental is over. Upon entering Crescent House for the first time, I said, “Wow! This is way better than I was expecting. Look at the lake!” As you enter the home, your eyes are immediately focused on the view out the windows. The sturdy, long dock provides a great spot to view Lake Crescent any time of day. The dock is an easy place to launch a canoe or kayak into the glassy, calm water. Wildlife abounds at Crescent House. We saw deer, eagles, owls, swallows, an otter, ducks, newts, and frogs. The ever changing sky provides for endless views.
The owners take great pride in their lake house and ensure guests have an amazing experience. The owners were friendly, professional, helpful, and easy to contact. Upon our arrival we found a pre-heated hot tub waiting for us. The house is clean, comfy, and has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans, storage containers, etc. (everything you need to feel at home without having to go out for meals) and there is a nice grill on the deck. The owners supply ample firewood, games, movies, books, and magazines. Even on a cold rainy day you can enjoy Crescent House. The sunroom is a relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors while sitting in comfort (it’s heated).
The drive to Crescent House is down a well maintained, paved, two lane road. Crescent House is about 35 minutes and is ½ mile to the Spruce Railroad Trailhead. We walked to the trail several times during our stay. This rental is also close to the Storm King Ranger Station, Marymere Falls Trail. It’s a great place to stay for short day trips like Shi Shi Beach, Cape Flattery, Sol Duc Falls, and the Hoh Rainforest (just to name a few-the list goes on and on).
Crescent House is a place I want to return to. The views, location, wildlife, and comforts of home are the highlights of this rental. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your lake home. It was the best vacation I’ve ever had!

EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have rented over a dozen homes through VRBO and count Crescent House as exceptional. As you open the front door, you will feel refreshed and relaxed due to the open nature and tasteful décor of the combined living, dining, and kitchen area. The view of Lake Crescent through the patio doorway directly off this open area is breathtaking. It is fabulous to spend time on the ample sized deck and just stare at the lake and mountains. Right now I am picturing this expansive and beautiful view in my mind. Wow! The inside of the home is more than comfortable and so well equipped! The kitchen is loaded with dishes, cooking utensils, bowls, etc. The gas BBQ is easy to use and the patio table is good sized for 6 to 8 people and has an umbrella, which we needed. We enjoyed an outdoor fire in the firepit the lake and what a pleasure to play with our dog across the beautiful lawn at the waters edge. We brought a canoe and enjoyed easy loading and unloading from the long pier. How nice it was to sit out on the pier’s edge and watch the light on the lake and mountains change throughout the day. We are definitely going back to Crescent House. Take family and friends…you will have a spectacular experience.

CRESCENT HOUSE

My wife, 10 year old son, and I just got back from a week at the Crescent House. This is a wonderful house, not a cabin, but a real house. It has the atmosphere, right on the quiet side of the lake, with its own dock, wood paneling, deer sightings, and trails less than a half mile away. It is also a modern house, with a spacious kitchen, central heat, carpeted rooms, and a great hot tub. I was especially impressed with the sun room, with big views of the lake. A terrific place to enjoy the Olympic National Park; on of the best places anywhere.

AMAZING

This house is AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for opening it up for others to experience. This was a spur of the moment trip for us and to randomly find such an amazing place was such a blessing. We plan on returning for sure. The house, the lake, the fire pit, the hot tub, the sunroom…it’s all so amazing. Our puppy also had a blast exploring the shallow parts of the water as she was too chicken to jump in so we will have to come back during warmer weather to throw her in. Again, thank you so much for sharing your home. We can’t wait to come back!!!

CRESCENT HOUSE

You exceeded our expectations – what a wonderful lake retreat in the perfect location! We enjoyed exploring a little of the Olympic Peninsula and coming “home” by the lake. We must have taken a thousand pictures! Blitz and Keesha were entertained by the ducks and enjoyed the yard – great for dogs! We all LOVE the sunroom!
