Crescent House
Crescent House has been in the family since the late 1930's/early 1940's. Originally built as a fishing/hunting spot by my uncle and a cougar skin, shot in the area, still hangs on the living room wall. My parents inherited in 1947 and it became our summer home; no electricity, phone, or running water. It became their permanent residence in 1966 ( with electricity and running water ). The phone came later. I inherited in 1997 and began summer rentals until 2008 when I replaced the old cabin with a new year-round home and vacation rental. Now, it belongs to my two sons and I'm the manager.
